At how many other airports in the world does the plane bounce three or four times upon landing? Seems like it always happens here in Myanmar.
I’m just back from a several-airport circuit that involved landings in Tokyo, Chicago, Philly, Houston, Tucson, and Denver. I didn’t feel a single bounce on any of those runways.
The problem here isn’t caused by the pilots. If it were, then we would also bounce in the other direction, at the end of each short flight from here to Bangkok. Perhaps Myanmar has a special runway construction technique?
